BENGALURU, INDIA 10th May 2021 - Members of the public are hereby cautioned that BPL Medical Technologies Private Limited (BPL) has identified some fraudsters wrongly claiming to be authorized dealers of BPL and are selling fake/counterfeit oxygen concentrators in the name of BPL or names similar to “BPL”. It has also come to BPL’s attention that fake/counterfeit BPL oxygen concentrators are being offered for sale against an advance through online payments and /or e-commerce portals  at prices higher than the price of original BPL oxygen concentrators exploiting the current pandemic conditions.  

 

Currently, BPL sells the following oxygen concentrators models in India: (a) Oxy 5 Neo Single  at Rs.65,000/-; (b) BPL Oxy 5 Neo Dual at Rs.67,000/- ; and (c) BPL Oxy 10  Neo at Rs.1,65,000/-. Please be advised that all sales are made only through BPL’s authorised sales channels not exceeding above prices. The public is cautioned against purchasing of  BPL oxygen concentrators from any channels other than BPL’s authorized sales channels.  Kindly note BPL will not  provide any warranties or services in any way with relation to products purchased  from unauthorized sellers. Further BPL  will not  accept any liability for any claim, loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred directly or indirectly through  any transactions for any products purchased through such unauthorized sellers. 

 

BPL stands strong with India and its people during this time of pandemic and condemn these fraudulent activities that may put people’s lives at risk. Should you come across any such fraudulent incident or have any information regarding any such fraudulent activities/incidents, please assist BPL in taking appropriate action to curb such activities by writing to BPL at marketing.medical@bpl.in. BPL is in the process of taking suitable legal action against fraudsters who have been identified.
