Position - Sourcing Executive

Location: Bangalore – Jigani

Reporting to: SCM Head

Employment Type: Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Sourcing, Purchase and Logistic management.
Forecasting demand to Supplier.
Vendor management and development– managing existing vendors, sourcing new & maintaining relationship with existing ones.
Review & ensure Raw material availability with Supplier to meet our demand
Monitor & Control inventory both at Supplier, BPL Factory & Warehouse across India.
RFQ, Negotiate & Contract finalization with Suppliers
Pull in & Pushout deliveries based on demand.
Ensure customer demands are met 100%.
Coordinating with logistics, CHA for transportation of goods & clearance.
Expert in using SAP Hana as ERP to carry out all business transaction. Working knowledge in SAP is Mandatory.
Knowledge on duty & Tax structure.
Inventory Measure, Analysis & Control.
Responsible for Analysis & Control Inventory across the Plant & Branches.
Responsible to control Raw material, FG, Traded & Spare Inventory.
Grouping of existing inventory & drive action for reduction.
Experience in handling global OEM Supplier for negotiation, Delivery & Pull-in/ push-out.
Maintain optimum warehouse inventory to meet customer demand.
Prepare and report monthly / quarterly update on Purchase performance.

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electronics and Electrical Engineering (EEE).
Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant supply chain experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably from a Medical Devices environment.
Previous experience in international product sourcing, inventory management, performance metrics and project management.
Strong proficiency in using ERP / SAP and other relevant systems and tools.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Should also possess excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of product costing as a derivative.
Ability and willingness to travel, both internationally & domestically.
Experience with new product development projects for complex products.
