Job Description

Position: Lead - DCC Production

Location: Jigani, Bangalore

Reporting to: Head– DCC Production

Lead Production is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured efficiently and delivered on-time while maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Participate in the monthly production meeting and receive the monthly targets.
• Prepare production plans and schedules to accomplish the targets.
• Monitor production progress and adjust as needed to ensure timely delivery.

• Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes.
• Address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

• Manage the allocation of resources, including man, materials, and equipment, to ensure full capacity utilisation and productivity.
• Maintain the optimum level of inventory.

• Ensure operating at minimum cost.
• Analyse production costs and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve profitability.

• Lead, motivate, and supervise production staff to ensure they are performing their duties effectively.
• Provide training and development opportunities to improve employee skills and performance.
• Maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor and Evaluate performance of sub-ordinates.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Stay up to date on the latest production technologies and techniques.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Diploma with 10+ years of experience in production management
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control procedures, and resource management techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems - SAP, MS Office

• Technical Skills: Production Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Management, Cost Control, QMS, Process Improvement and Lean implementation.
• Leadership Skills: Team Leadership, Motivation, Communication, Problem-Solving, Decision-Making.
