Job Description
Position - Financial & Planning Analyst
Location: Bangalore
Reporting to: DGM-FP&A
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Participate in Annual budgeting activities
- Assist in MIS related activities – such as margin analysis, variance analysis etc.
- Assist in regular reports like Sales snapshots, factoring different variables.
Controllership & Reporting
- Handle Bank Reconciliation Statement.
- Assist in monthly books closing activities such as reconciliations, entry posting, etc.
- Assist in preparation of schedules for Internal & Statutory audit and submissions to various stakeholders including bank, Govt. departments etc.
- Assist in preparation of Annual financial statements and other financial reports as necessary.
Capital Allocation
- Evaluate investment proposals for supporting decision making
- Collaborate with business teams for timely updates on status of R&D projects including profitability analysis.
Simplification / IT Automation
- Contribute to process implementation including implementation / improvement of various IT tools such as CRM, expense management.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Preparing MIS Reports for Business
- Driving KPIs with Business Heads
- Proficiency in ERP systems – preferably SAP & good MS Excel skills
- Oral and written communication
- Team management skills
Qualifications and Experience:
Education & Experience:
- Semi-qualified/Inter CA with - 4 years of experience
